Please remember that the 3DS is not region free. That means that even if you buy a Japanese 3ds game, it will only work if your 3Ds is also Japanese. Japanese 3ds accepts foreign credit cards so once you set up your account, you can pay with it. Point cards are also available online but there is usually a “middle man” fee with those. The current model of the 3ds is usually referred as N3DS (n for new). The 3d effect is more stable when used at an angle and plays games a little better and, more significantly, there are 2 analog sticks (meaning the you don’t need an accessory or play with one of your hands in a claw like position to be more efficient). At this time there are no N3DS exclusive games but it is a possibility in the future.
